He chose a family owned French restaurant within a walking distance from his work. It is a cozy and cute place, which attracts more matured people in their 40’s and over.
Entrees on the black board
We got a small table by the window.
We were the firs ones who filled the dining area in the back while the front was already full. The entire restaurant got full by 6pm.
I had a glass of Bordeaux ($10) and he had stella.
Appetizers and salad on the menu
The bread itself is not extraordinary. Wine is good.
Escargot is soft version of clam for me. It tastes ok but the best thing is to enjoy the sauce by scooping with bread. Then sipping wine. What a bliss.
Crab Cake $10
I had the appetizer size Crab Cake as main. They have entree size of it ($22) too. For the price, it’s fairly good and right portion for me.
Onion Gratin Soup $10
I meant this was my starter, but it came out after the main because it took 15 minutes to prepare.
Rainbow Trout Almandine Sauce $21
Because he plans to go trout fishing, he would like to learn a way to cook trout.
Hot, cheesy, sweet and flavorful.
