The members from Girls Party in the Kitchen 2015 + 1 from Chicago got together to cook Osechi Ryori and have fun of eating & drinking.
Kicking off with a bottle of Rose Sparkling I brought around 12:30pm
Lunch before cooking: Soba with chicken, kamaboko, aonori, yuzu, 3 make-ahead dishes of red & yellow bell pepper in ponzu, shrimp chili sauce, gobo & okara
My friend/host prepared a special dashi broth with konbu & bonito flakes from scratch and tenderized chicken. Everyone liked 3 sides I brought too.
Cooking plan meeting in a relaxing mood with green tea
At 2pm cooking started. Three of us improved cooking skills so much and got focused on each assignments. Appreciated +1 guest kept sink and workstation clean by doing dishes.
At 4pm mini break aka filling up fuel
This rose is more vivid pink. So pretty and tasty. We were able to focus another 2.5 hours because of this.
Snacking during mini break: Kabu, Red Onion, Lemon, Smoked Salmon
The last task was wrapping shumai. That was so fun.
At 7pm we got dinner started.

Dessert: Matcha Tira Misu
This is one of my responsibility tonight. Other three wanted more rum in it. I intentionally put less :p Sorry
Party was over around 11pm and came home around midnight.
