Low Carb Option – Tofu Shirataki Ramen

At Marukai Market, we were offered sampling of this tofu shirataki ramen. It was pretty good. There are three flavors, spicy miso, tonkotsu and shoyu (soy).

$4.98 for two servings

Simply served with boiled egg and green onion

Crunchier and less chewy than real ramen. A great low carb/calorie option. Only 120 calories, 20g carbs!

Tuesday Special @ Huong Vi

I called Huong Vi around 11am to order Tuesday Special, Bun Rieu for dinner because their special is usually sold out during lunch time.

I was only a customer there around 5pm. The owner feels so honored that I am so crazy for their specials. Next time I will call for Thursday Special, Bún bò Huế, Spicy Beef Soup.

Tuesday Special, Bun Rieu $10 including tax & tip

Americanized version of bun rieu

I always ask for pho noodle instead of original bun.

After dinner I went to get haircut and head spa.
