Chicken Nanban

I tried a new recipe in one of my cooking books. It’s a kind of fried chicken but not karaage. Covered with batter, deep fried in vegetable oil and soaked in sweet soy vinegar sauce.

Dinner: Chicken Nanban with Tartar Sauce, Sauteed Peasprouts, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Rice

He says that there are three different ways to enjoy this dish. 1) Just chicken itself, 2)  dipped in the soy sauce, 3) then with tartar sauce.

I am glad that he loves it.

It got grow out, but still looks pretty.
