Summer Vegetables Ramen

I was craving for ramen and came for it alone while he was out.

I just realize that they have a cool wall art.

Menu has been updated

Summer Vegetables Ramen (夏野菜ラーメン)$11.20

Only available from July to September
A lot of lettuce, tomatoes and cilantro with chicken. Broth is sour and refreshing.

It was tasty for the first bite, but I got tire of its sourness in the middle and couldn’t finish it.

Adding Eboshi spice to mild the sourness out.

Peruvian Dinner @ Inka Wasi

Order/pay at the counter first. Beer and wine are available. Nice!

He had a Peruvian beer.

I got a glass of Chardonnay ($6). Soup comes with entree dishes.

Mine: Picante de Mariscos $15
Moderately spicy. I wish there was more fish in it. It’s delicious but I prefer Kotosh’s picante.

Bottomless Mimosa Brunch @ Yamashiro Hollywood

We were invited to Yamashiro in Hollywood for Sunday brunch by a good friend couple. This place is famous for views of Los Angeles.

My third plate: Prime Rib is so good. I like enjoying meat and shrimp cocktail with wasabi.

Drink & Dessert Menu
I didn’t need it since bottomless mimosa was included in the buffet. I had probably 5 glasses.

A walk after brunch

Entrance of the restaurant

Buffet $39 + Bottomless Mimosa $10 with complimentary valet parking
*We paid $31.50 + tax & Tip per person as a Travelzoo deal. Nice!

He says the food has nothing special. Quality of each item might not be good, but I loved a variety of sushi rolls and prime ribs. With bottomless mimosa and beautiful garden & city views, it’s a great deal!

Girls Night @ EMC Seafood & Raw Bar

Driving to Irvine to see my girl friends
This particular location used to be Elephant Bar where I came for happy hour with co-workers after work. That brought back a lot of memories.

Initially for Happy Hour, but it became a lot more than that.

Congee with Abalone $18
One of them didn’t feel well and she needed something warm to kick off. I love abalone and it was pretty good.

I had a glass of house white, Chardonnay ($5).

Seafood Tower $118
We found each other who are shell fish lovers including clams and oysters. So why not getting the best on menu!

7 Shrimp Cocktails, Fresh Uni

2 Maine Lobsters (cull = one craw), 1/2 dozen of Oysters, Clams, Mussels

Fanny Bay, Shigoku, Kumamoto oysters
My favorite is Shigoku with round shell. Fat and milky meat.

I am not a big fan of lobster but it was good once in a while.

HH Garlic Noodle $7

HH Fried Zucchini $5

$67/person including tax & tip
It was a great deal!!
